Our client is a global leader in reinsurance and insurance with over 150 years of experience. Headquartered in Switzerland, the company provides innovative solutions across property & casualty, life & health, and specialty insurance. They required cloud-native GIS for natural hazard risk management and Eastern European flood data processing.

The Challenges

The client aimed to replace their existing GIS server with a higher-performing, enterprise-ready platform that supported open standards and operated seamlessly on Microsoft Azure’s IaaS and PaaS services. The system also had to handle natural hazard risks and scale reliably during monthly and quarterly business peaks.
