We’re pleased to share that Quarticle has partnered with Haskoning to integrate Twinn, their advanced climate risk data, directly into our platform. This collaboration brings together high-resolution hazard intelligence and cloud-native GeoIntelligence workflows, with a clear goal: to make climate and catastrophe risk easier to understand, assess, and act on.

Through this integration, Quarticle users gain access to a comprehensive set of global risk indicators, covering:

  • Flood: fluvial (river), pluvial (surface water), and coastal/tidal
  • Wind & Storms: windstorms, tropical cyclones, tornadoes, and hail
  • Fire: wildfire occurrence and fire weather conditions
  • Temperature: heat stress (e.g., days above 35°C) and cold stress
  • Water Stress: drought (consecutive dry days) and precipitation extremes
  • Geological Hazards: earthquakes (Shindo scale), tsunamis, volcanic activity
  • Coastal Risk: sea level rise
  • Atmospheric: lightning

This range of data provides a comprehensive view of both short-term and long-term climate risks, combining global consistency with the level of detail required for localized analysis.

Why this matters

Access to data alone is no longer enough. The real challenge lies in turning that data into decisions. By combining Twinn’s high-resolution hazard intelligence with Quarticle’s analytics and workflow capabilities, organizations can assess and manage climate and catastrophe risks at both the property and portfolio levels with greater confidence and speed. This enables:

  • faster and more consistent risk evaluation
  • improved transparency in decision-making
  • direct integration of climate signals into operational processes

Looking Ahead

This integration marks an important step in our mission to make climate-aware decision-making simple, transparent, and actionable for insurers and other risk-driven organizations. As climate risks continue to evolve, the ability to combine high-quality data with robust, production-ready workflows will become increasingly critical.
