At Quarticle, we focus on helping organisations turn complex geospatial data into practical, operational insight. As climate risks intensify and digital infrastructure becomes increasingly strategic, collaboration across ecosystems is essential.

We’re pleased to share that we have joined two initiatives that reflect these priorities: the Santiago Network and Netzwerk SDS – Sovereign Digital Switzerland.

The Santiago Network

The Santiago Network connects developing countries and communities with timely, demand-driven technical assistance to address loss and damage caused by climate change. Through the network, governments and organisations can access expertise, tools, and support to better understand and respond to climate-related impacts in a structured and practical way.

We see geospatial data, cloud-native infrastructure, and spatial analytics as key enablers in this context, supporting everything from exposure analysis and impact assessment to response planning. We are proud to contribute to the network and collaborate with partners to support efforts where they are needed most.

Netzwerk SDS – Sovereign Digital Switzerland

Quarticle has also joined Netzwerk SDS, an initiative advancing digital sovereignty in Switzerland. The network brings together organisations from the public sector, industry, and research to promote open standards, interoperability, and reduced reliance on proprietary systems.

This aligns closely with how we design and build our technology. Our approach to geospatial infrastructure is based on open standards, cloud-native architectures, and flexible deployment models, enabling organisations to retain control over their data while maintaining long-term adaptability.

We look forward to contributing to ongoing discussions around open geospatial systems, sovereign infrastructure, and the role of modern cloud technologies in supporting them.

Moving Forward

These initiatives reflect two increasingly interconnected areas: climate resilience and digital sovereignty. As organisations navigate more complex risks and regulatory landscapes, the need for transparent, scalable, and interoperable systems continues to grow. Through our participation in these networks, we aim to support both the technical and collaborative efforts required to move in that direction.
